1. Shipping Policy

We are committed to getting your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Below is an outline of our shipping methods, costs, and timeframes.

UK Orders

  • Carrier: We use Royal Mail for all UK orders.
  • Shipping Services: We offer a range of services from Royal Mail, which may include options like:
    • Standard Delivery (Royal Mail 2nd Class): Estimated delivery time is typically 2-3 working days.
    • Express Delivery (Royal Mail 1st Class or Tracked 24): Estimated delivery time is typically 1-2 working days.
  • Costs: Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order.
  • Dispatch Time: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched.

European & International Orders

  • Carrier: We use Royal Mail for most European and international orders. For larger or more valuable shipments, we may use alternative couriers such as Parcelforce, FedEx, or DHL, at our discretion.
  • Customs & Import Duties: Please be aware that for all orders shipped outside the UK, you may be subject to customs and import duties or taxes once the package reaches its destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Please contact your local customs office for further information.
  • Delivery Times: International delivery times vary widely depending on the destination country and local customs procedures. A general estimate for European orders is 3-7 working days, and for the rest of the world, it is 5-14 working days. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

2. Returns Policy

We hope you are delighted with your purchase from Albion Aero Services. However, we understand that you may occasionally need to return an item. Our returns policy is in line with UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, to ensure you are fully protected.

Our 14-Day “No Quibble” Cancellation Period

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order and return the goods for any reason within 14 days of receiving your order. This is your “cooling-off” period. You do not need to provide a reason for the cancellation.

  • How to Cancel: To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement in writing. You can do this by:

  • Cancellation Period: The cancellation period will expire 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods. If your order is delivered in multiple parts, the 14 days begin on the day you receive the last part of your order.
  • Returning the Goods: Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you must send the goods back to us within 14 days of your cancellation notice. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods back to us. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
  • Condition of Goods: The goods must be returned in their original, unused condition, with all original packaging and any included accessories. We reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced by your handling of them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Refunds for Canceled Orders

  • Refund Amount: We will refund the full cost of the returned goods.
  • Delivery Costs: We will also refund the standard delivery costs you paid for the original order. If you opted for an enhanced or express delivery service (e.g., next-day delivery), we will only refund the value of our standard delivery option.
  • When You Will Be Refunded: We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. The refund will be made to your original payment method.

Faulty, Damaged, or Not-As-Described Items

If an item you receive is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you have a right to a refund, repair, or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • How to Report a Faulty Item: Please contact us immediately, within a reasonable time after discovering the fault, at returns@albionaero.co.uk. Please provide us with your order number, a description of the fault, and if possible, photographic evidence.
  • Our Responsibility: We will cover the cost of returning the faulty item to us. We will then inspect the item.
  • Your Options: Depending on the nature of the fault and when it was discovered, you may be entitled to:
    • Short-Term Right to Reject (up to 30 days): A full refund if the item is faulty.
    • Right to Repair or Replacement (after 30 days): We may offer to repair or replace the item free of charge.
    • Final Right to Reject: If a repair or replacement is not possible or fails, you are entitled to a refund (which may be a partial refund depending on the time you have had the item).

Product Warranties

In addition to your statutory rights, certain products we sell come with a manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Aviolight Products: Come with a 2-year warranty for any failure due to manufacturing defects.
  • Fly Henry Products: Come with a 2-year warranty for any failure due to manufacturing defects.
  • IFD Products: Come with a lifetime warranty for any failure due to manufacturing defects.

Exceptions to the Returns Policy

Some goods cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty. These exceptions are in line with UK law and include:

  • Bespoke or Personalised Items: Products that have been made to your specific requirements or clearly personalised.
  • Perishable Goods: Items that have a limited shelf life, such as food or certain chemicals.
  • Sealed Goods: Goods that are sealed for health or hygiene reasons, if they have been unsealed after delivery.
  • Digital Content: Downloadable digital products once a download has begun.
