Engineered for Ultralight, Light Sport (LSA), and Experimental aircraft, the IFD-NET EVO EFIS PLUS is the ultimate all-in-one flight deck instrument. Condensing an advanced Primary Flight Display, 3D Synthetic Vision, moving map navigation, route planning, and complete control of a 3-axis 5 Nm autopilot system into a standard 80 mm (3⅛″) panel hole—with zero remote computing boxes.

The EVO PLUS eliminates separate autopilot computers. Connecting directly via RS-485 to high-torque AP7000 digital servos (delivering up to 5 Nm of torque), the system manages flight stabilization and navigation through fully configurable PID controllers:

• Lateral Control (HDG & LVL): Holds heading bug settings, flies standard-rate turns up to preset bank limits, levels wings automatically, and features a dedicated 180° Quick Turn course-reversal button.
• Vertical Control (ALT & VS): Holds target barometric altitude and commands smooth climbs or descents (up to ±1,000 ft/min), automatically reducing vertical speed if indicated airspeed approaches minimum or maximum safety boundaries.
• Advanced 2D & 3D Navigation Modes: Steers along saved GPX routes in NAV 2D, or actively interpolates waypoint altitudes in NAV 3D to manage complete vertical route profiles hands-free.
• External NMEA / SkyDemon Support: Interprets $GPAPA and $GPAPB sentences from external panel navigators or tablet navigation apps over RS-232 serial.
• Auxiliary Servo Options: Third servo channel configurable for active Yaw Damper (coordinated turns), Auto-Trim, or airspeed-managed Auto-Flaps.

Panel Installation Note: When mounting the 80 mm EVO PLUS into a standard 3⅛″ panel cutout, enlarge the lower-right screw hole to 7.5 mm to clear the encoder shaft. Remove the concentric knobs using a flat screwdriver and 6 mm socket, mount the instrument, and refit the knobs with 1 mm clearance. Always connect pneumatic lines (Pitot, Static, and AOA) using rubber O-ring adapters tightened by hand to protect internal silicone lines.
